Like this week. there's 7 or 8 guys that I'm going to speak with. E: Well, they are using real Indians now. There is no question that the American Indians have been one of the most mistreated peoples in history, certainly on this continent. MP: Well, having been here already, would you ever want to revisit western North Carolina, the scene of the crime? MP: Okay, well. aside from the masks, which will obviously be going to take a lot of your time and focus.. are you still pursuing your acting career? ES: Well, no. Could you do me a favor? Why they go stir crazy and they forget . and they loose their memories? MP: There was a strong feeling of familial bond between your character, Uncas, your older step-brother Hawkeye, played by Daniel Day-Lewis, and your father Chingachgook, played by Russell Means. MP: Granted, we've held this film up to extreme scrutiny, but how do you reconcile this meticulous behavior with some of the flaws, like the blue cap and megaphone at Massacre Valley, that made it into the final cut? E: I would go on and on about the things that were wrong in the movie. But Russell Means (Chingachgook) said, "NO, I'm an Indian. MP: Well, a lot of people feel put out! So, they did film something and obviously you It is hard to do this if someone is not interested in itmind, body and soul. They were the two stars so they couldn't take the focus off of them. So, what they would like to know is what would 30 below weather. If there's any kind of panic, it started at the top with the producers. One of our problems is finding a voice and speaking up, speaking out really loud too, if you want to. Ava Burnett. ES: There's about 14 or 15 kids in it and we get together.. actually, I'm waiting for some plays to come in to a local bookstore here. We go down to the gym and I just. my girlfriend and I, we look around for different monologues and scenes for He's intense, too, so it was fun to watch the play between him and Michael Mann. He is such an integral part of our favorite movie. Uhm hmm. Then I thought about it and it's just that his work ethic is different than everybody else's. Certainly, we have a new found appreciation for interviewers! ES: Yeah, they could have it's all politics. Directing them, casting them, and what not.. but. so that's what I'd really like to see. We, and certainly your fans, appreciate it. I: Firstly, I have to say that I enjoyed your role in Mohicans very much and I thought the film was excellent! anti-anybody. The girls would have been scared of everything! It's not a monumental, you know, a paradigm change, but it effects them.
